I'M SICK OF THE RAIN AND I MISS TATSUDAS - Poem
(Title by Aimee Shull)
I'm Sick of the Rain and I Miss Tatsudas
August has come and the rain’s still falling
Summer’s still gone and Fall is calling
Kept on the oil and the bill is rising
Love to burn wood, but the pile ain’t drying
I’m sick of the rain and I miss Tatusda’s
Sick of the rain and I miss Tatsuda’s
Sick of the rain don’t know where the sun is
Sick of the rain and I miss Tatsuda’s
The staff has all gone, out to Safeway
It’s not the same, here on Stedman
The south end is dead, ain’t no food there
Don’t want to go north, where’s the salad bear?
I’m sick of the rain and I miss Tatsuda’s
Sick of the rain and I miss Tatsuda’s
Sick of the rain, don’t know where the sun is
Sick of the rain and I miss Tatsuda’s.
We're all masked up, thanks to COVID
We're stuck on this rock, where's the TP?
The world's gone away, no more cruise ships
2020s a drag, such a bad "drip"
Sick of the rain and I miss Tatsuda's
Sick of the rain and I miss Tatsuda's
Sick of the rain, don't know where our sun is
Sick of the rain and I miss Tatsuda's
