Second COVID outbreak hits LNG project
KITIMAT - A second outbreak of COVID 19 at the LNG Canada construction
site has affected 15 more employees, officials say. This outbreak is

Teachers union: Masks, more rules necessary
TERRACE - The Terrace teachers union is calling for mandatory mask usage

record to a local hunter. Pope and Young says that the male mountain
goat killed by Kaleb Baird on the Cleveland Peninsula recently is the

YAKUTAT - Two recently reported cases of COVID 19 in the community were
incorrect. Officials now say that a reporting error caused the report.

Carbon monoxide may have killed couple
WHITEHORSE - Officials are investigating the death of a Marsh Lake
couple. They were found in a shed on their property and initial reports

Traveler restrictions delayed
SKAGWAY - The borough assembly has delayed consideration of new
requirements for travelers arriving in Skagway. The proposal would
require two tests for COVID 19 or strict social distancing for 14 days.

Reduced basketball season scheduled
WRANGELL - The High School is planning for a basketball season this
year. The current plan calls for only four games prior to the regionals
in early March. Officials say that more games may be scheduled but that
is up what Metlakatla and Haines, the Wolves

Beach Road hillside unstable
HAINES - Beach Road residents may face years of challenges because the
hillside above their area remains unstable after a massive landslide
occurred on December 2. Nine homes were destroyed by the landslide and
33 residents displaced. Two, David Simmons and

Small landslide at Public Works
PETERSBURG - Erosion caused by the recent heavy rainfall caused a small
landslide at the Public Works yard. The landslide occurred near Hammer
