- Mary Ann Misfeldt led a special Royal Canadian Legion service
honoring Queen Elizabeth last week. Misfeldt had met the Queen in 2005.

- Residents are remembering longtime Craig kindergarten teacher Justna
Johns who died recently at 85. She was born in Klawock in 1936. THE

- Voters will have a say on a $6.6 million recreation bond in October.
If approved the bond will replace the running track at Adair Kennedy

- The Kitimat Saax is preparing for its inaugural Greater Metro Junior
Hockey League debut later this month. The new jerseys were unveiled, and

- Police used DNA to find a suspect in 2017 break-in at the Haines
Health Center. The 26-year-old Juneau man arrested last week. THE
